What you get
Text and Markdown
Plain text keeps the paragraphs. Markdown adds headings worked out from text size, lists, bold and italic, and tables where they are detected.
A summary without AI
The summary picks the most representative sentences from the document itself, with the page each came from. No AI model is used and it works offline.
Pages as pictures
Save pages as PNG or JPEG at one, two or three times screen size. Several pages are bundled into one ZIP file.
The original images
Photos stored in the PDF are saved as they are; other images are saved as PNG.
PDF to text: questions and answers
Can I extract text from a scanned PDF?
A scan has no text until it is recognised. Run text recognition (OCR) first, then export the text.
How good is the Markdown?
Headings are guessed from the size of the text and tables from the alignment of columns, so check the result on complex layouts.
Is the summary written by AI?
No. It is extractive: sentences are scored by the words they contain and their position, and the top ones are shown unchanged.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything is done in your browser.
